Hello, I am Roxette Garcia

I am a front-end developer based in Toronto CA that started coding this year (2021) with SheCodes Workshops. I have learned many subjects throughout my academic journey. I started my post-secondary path as a student in the Culinary Chef Training program at George Brown College. That lead to a post-graduate of the Food and Nutrition Management program where I received employment at a long-term care home during the COVID pandemic. To further my knowledge in the rapidly expanding coding industry, I decided to enroll in the SheCodes Workshop. Even though I've only started coding recently, coding has been a fun journey and a very rewarding experience. I'm very excited to learn and push myself with the goal of transitioning my career into the coding industry.

In addition, I am a nano-influencer who collaborates with brands through Instagram. I started this journey in 2020 and have been able to work with some brands I admire. I enjoy taking pictures, creating content, and sharing my aesthetic.❀
